Where? At the one and only Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
The “Land of Motors” awaits you at the Misano racetrack for the thrilling MotoGP and Superbike World Championship events—two action-packed weekends where adrenaline meets entertainment.
Expect freestyle shows, exhibitions, music, art, fashion, and high-energy contests, all wrapped in a festival atmosphere.
Major media partners like Radio Deejay, Italia 1, and Sky TV will be there to bring the excitement to the world.
The Misano racetrack is the most iconic sports facility in Misano Adriatico, located specifically in the Santa Monica district. It is the only circuit in Italy — and one of the very few in the world — to host both of the top motorcycle championships: MotoGP and SBK Misano.
The Misano Circuit is a cornerstone of the legendary Motor Valley, the land of motors that stretches along the Via Emilia and is united by a shared passion for engines. It’s a true hub of automotive excellence, featuring museums, collections, racetracks, karting circuits, and breathtaking motorbike itineraries.
The international track hosts the world’s most prestigious racing competitions every year, featuring the biggest names in international motorcycling and motorsport.
During weekends with no races or events, the test track comes alive with open speed sessions, safe driving courses — for motorcycles, cars, vans, and trucks — as well as sports driving classes offered by the “Guidare Pilotare” school founded by Siegfried Stohr. Public driving experiences in Renault Formula Campus cars are also available and can be booked online.
Sporting activities at the Misano World Circuit began in 1972, three years after the initial planning phase. However, it wasn’t until the renovations in the 1990s that the facility became increasingly efficient, ultimately earning recognition as a major “motor park” capable of hosting international competitions, events, and one-of-a-kind Italian experiences.
Following the untimely death of local champion Marco Simoncelli in Sepang, the circuit was renamed in his honour in 2012, becoming the “Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.”
Fun fact: the final scenes of Ligabue’s 2002 film “From Zero to Ten” (Da Zero a Dieci) were filmed right here on the Misano track.
All our hotels are located in Misano Adriatico and are just 2 to 4 km from the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
